I chose to blend After Effects with Cinema 4D for the visual elements, focusing on 'blueprint'-style animations. Within Cinema 4D, I utilized Sketch and Toon to craft the terrain and various components of the bike. Subsequently, I composited these elements in After Effects, which afforded me greater control over the bike's movement through the terrain and around obstacles. The process concluded with masking and adding annotations to the renders for the final outputs.
Canyon Steering Science
I have been commissioned by Canyon Bicycles to produce several explanatory animations detailing the science behind their KIS steering system. The task involves illustrating the bicycle and animating the system's functionality in response to various obstacles and changes in terrain. These animations will be featured on their website and social media platforms to help customers grasp the scientific principles that underpin the engineering of the KIS system.
